Why did you want to work with animals? I found that working with animals brought more positive outcomes and challenges than your average nine to five. When working with animals you get a chance of meeting new breeds with their own uniqueness. No day is ever the same with new challenges and testing of our abilities. In result we are creating memorial stories not only for ourselves but also the pet owner. Another reason I enjoy working with animals is the bond you create with the animal and owner and it helps build your character and how people see you. After all, these people are trusting you with their fur-babies and that says a lot when you earn that trust. From my own personal experience, I found that animals have had a positive influence to my son and have helped him in some of his daily activities or in a time of need and because of this I thought that I could help animals in the way that they have helped my son by providing the best of care to them where I can.

Did you grow up with pets or have pets of your own? I’ve always had pets since growing up. From dogs of various breeds to cats. I’ve also had hamsters, mice and even a ferret. I can’t say who was my favorite because I loved all my animals in their own special way but there were a few I did have special memories with. I had a Siberian husky named Bandit who I cherish a lot. I adopted him instantly when I saw him and found out his previous home wasn’t the greatest. Another pet that I had was a tea cup chihuahua named Cookie. She was the smallest breed of dogs I’ve ever own and her puppy moments were the greatest.

Where did you grow up? Mayfair Park and Albany Park in Chicago

When you aren’t caring for pets, what can we find you doing? When not walking dogs I am spending time with my son Talon who was born with Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome. Most of my day is helping him with his daily needs as we try to accomplish some of his own goals. I also spend some time in the kitchen trying to progress my own culinary skills. So far I’m pretty confident in seafood and Latin cuisine. I also enjoy visiting various restaurants and trying new food!

What is a hidden talent of yours? I’m pretty good at baking. I find baking to be a bit more of a challenge and rather do everything else but baking. I apparently can make really good bite sized cheesecake and fruit tarts.
