Holly moved back to the Midwest after living in Las Vegas for almost 17 years. While in Las Vegas, Holly fostered over a dozen rescues and had four of her own: Petey, Rae Rae, Shady and Max. Her passion for rescues led Holly to have her fostered dogs placed at the Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center in Las Vegas. The dogs live in the facility with inmates as part of the Pups on Parole program, which trains inmates at the facility to be certified dog handlers and rehabilitates dogs for placement in Southern Nevada.
While in Las Vegas, Holly obtained her master’s degree in counseling, but working with animals is her first love. With a passion for animals, Holly has been providing loving pet care for over 20 years. She has also raised many red-eared sliders and a variety of fish. Holly has provided dog walking and pet sitting for a variety of animals including lizards, small mammals and a variety of birds as well as providing care for birds in an aviary. She also has extensive experience with administering medications both orally and subcutaneously.
Holly is certified in the Basics of Dog-Human Behavior and is Pet CPR and first-aid trained
